GOD is a Person who has revealed Himself as a Trinity in unity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--three Persons and yet but one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:4-6).
JESUS CHRIST is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is Himself very God; He took upon Him our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world; He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified; He ascended into heaven in that body glorified, where He is now our interceding High Priest; He will come again
personally and visibly to set up His kingdom and to judge the quick and the dead (Colossians 1:15; Philippians 2:5-8; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Peter 2:24-25; Luke 24; Hebrews 4:14-16; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15).
The HOLY SPIRIT is the third person of the trinity that is the manifestation of God in every believer, through whom we receive power to be God’s witnesses. (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8)
The CHURCH is a unit of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body; its mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching the gospel among all nations (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Matthew 28:19-20).
BAPTISM is a commandment for all believers as a symbol of the death,
burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord (Colossians 2:11-13;
I Peter 3:21).
The BIBLE, including both the Old and New Testaments is a divine revelation, which was inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16;
2 Peter 1:21).
MAN was created in the image of God but fell into sin, and thus is lost; and except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:10 ,23; John 3:3).
SALVATION is by grace through faith in Christ who bore our sins on His body when He died on the cross (Acts 13:38-39; John 3:16; Matthew 25:46:1 Peter 2:24-25).
The LORD’S SUPPER is a commemerance of the breaking of Christ’s body
and the shedding of His blood as He died to clean us from our sins.
(I Corinthians 11:23-26)
Our Mission
As Abraham extended hospitality to the angels unaware at the great
oaks of Mamré (Genesis 18:1-16), we at Las Palmas de Mamré extend
hospitality to all who pass our way. We attend to both spiritual and
physical needs of the people who live and travel along the river
“roads.”
Our Vision
To raise up the Church of Jesus Christ in the river areas of
Sarapiqui and San Juan; to send missionaries to do the same in
unreached areas of the world y to places where no one else is going or
wants to go.
LA DECLARACIÓN DE FE
El DIOS es una Persona que se ha revelado como un Trinidad en la
unidad, Padre, el Hijo, y espíritu santo--tres Personas y todavía pero
un Dios (Deuteronomio 6:4; Mateo 28:19; 1 Corintios 8:6; Efesios
4:4-6). JESUCRISTO es la imagen del Dios invisible que es decir que Él
se es mismo Dios; Él tomó en Él nuestra naturaleza, concibiéndose por
el espíritu santo y nacido de la Virgen Maria; Él se murió en la cruz
como un sacrificio del sustituto para el pecado del mundo; Él se
levantó del muerto en el cuerpo en que Él fue crucificado; Él ascendió
en el cielo en ese cuerpo glorificado, dónde Él es ahora nuestro
Sacerdote Alto intercediendo; Él vendrá de nuevo personalmente y
visiblemente preparar Su reino y juzgar el vivoy el muerto (Colosenses
1:15; Filapenses 2:5-8; Mateo 1:18-25; 1 Pedro 2:24-25; Luke 24;
Hebreos 4:14-16; Hechos 1:9-11; 1 Tesalonisenses 4:16-18; Mateo
25:31-46; Apocalipsis20:11-15).
El espíritu santo es la tercera persona del trinidad que es la
manifestación de Dios en cada creyente a través de quien nosotros
recibimos el poder para dar testimonio de Dios. (Juan 14:16-17; Hechos
1:8)
La IGLESIA es una unidad de creyentes bautizada por el Espíritu
Santo en un solo cuerpo; y la misión del cuerpo es dar testimonio de la
Cabeza, Jesús Christ, y predicar el evangelio entre todas las naciones
(1 Corintios 12:12-13; Mateo28:19-20).
El BAUTISMO es un mandato para todos los creyentes como un símbolo
de la muerte, entierro y resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo
(Colosenses 2:11-13; yo Pedro 3:21).
La BIBLIA, incluyendo ambos Testamentos, Viejo y Nuevo es una
revelación divina que estaba inspirado por el Espíritu Santo (2
Timoteo3:16; 2 Pedro1:21).
El HOMBRE se creó a la imagen de Dios pero entró el pecado, y así
está perdido; y excepto que un hombre nazca de nuevo, él no puede ver
el reino de Dios. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:10 ,23; John 3:3).
La SALVACIÓN es por la gracia a través de la fe en Cristo que llevó
nuestros pecados en Su cuerpo cuando Él murió en la cruz (Hechos
13:38-39; Juan3:16; Mateo 25:46:1 Pedro 2:24-25).
La CENA del SEÑOR es un comemoración del quebrantamento del cuerpo
de Cristo y el derramamiento de Su sangre cuando Él se murió para
limpiarnos de nuestros pecados. (I Corintios 11:23-26)
Nuestra Misión
Cuando Abraham extendió la hospitalidad a los ángeles desconocidos
bajo los grandes robles de Mamré (Génesis 18:1-16), nosotros a Las
Palmas de Mamré extendemos la hospitalidad a todos que pasan a nuestra lugar. Nosotros asistimos a las necesidades, ambo espirituales y físicas de las
personas que viven y viajan a lo largo del río a nuestro misión.
Nuestra Visión
Para levantar la Iglesia de Jesucristo en las áreas de los ríos Sarapiqui y San Juan; para enviar a misioneros a hacer el mismo trabajo en las áreas del mundo donde la palabra de Dios no ha llegado,asi como a los lugares dónde nadie esta llegando o no quiere o puede ir.
